An Open Letter to all SASCA Members and Concerned Shores Residents
May 12, 2010
I just received the proposed Service Corporation Board meeting agenda for Thursday May 13, 2010. The meeting will be held at 7:00 PM.
Please read the enclosed paragraph carefully, and plan to attend tomorrow night's Service Corporation Board of Directors meeting. This is how our new President intends to work with SASCA.
When you SIGN IN be sure to indicate that you want to speak regarding DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS and SASCA, in particular.
Let your neighbors and friends know what our NEW President of 1 week wants to do. Bring them with you to the meeting tomorrow.
So much for President Kouremetis wanting to work "FOR A BETTER SHORES". Instead of trying to work with us he wants to stifle anything contrary to his opinion.
SASCA's purpose always has been to provide the residents of the St Augustine Shores a completely independent and autonomous entity concerned with their general interests and has continuously operated for the mutual benefit of all Shores' residents. It's now time for us residents to take action.
Respectfully Yours,
Ken Thomas, SASCA President
Below is the statement made by Service Corp. President Gus Kouremetis.
The chair will seek approval for the removal of SASCA Bulletin Board and copies of The Civic Advocate, from the Riverview Club.
Whereas the mission of the Service Corp is to protect the property values of more than 3300 homeowners, and
Whereas, the editorial and letters in The Civic Advocate are such that the property value of Shores homes are threatened, and
Whereas, SASCA is a private club, requiring sponsorship and offering membership to non Service Corp homeowners
The SASCA Bulletin Board and copies of The Civic Advocate are to no longer be presented at the Riverview Club.
