Dear Neighbors,My name is Frances Dobkowski and I am applying for a director’s seat on the Conquistador Condominium Board. I have resided in this community since 1981. Over the last few years, I have become disappointed with the turnout at association meetings and the general involvement of homeowners in the community.
Some have stated that they feel their involvement has not been welcome by recent boards. As a long time resident, I had the pleasure of serving as a director on the first two (2) Conquistador Boards and also served on the Service Corporation Board.
What we had then was the Board’s openness to listen to different ideas and we encouraged committee participation. We all knew each other and enjoyed each others company. This is what I long for today.
If elected, I promise to be available to address all owner concerns and represent your best interest with honesty, fairness and respect. Since moving to St. Augustine, I have been very involved with various volunteer organizations and served on many committees. I will use past experiences to bring the community back to where it once was and the elected Board will again, work for you.
